Description
Wayne Daniel has many versions of disecting the Icosahedron
This particular one, I believe has never been possible, until now
Made with 5 different woods, this 10 SIMILAR pieces of 4 joined tetrahedra opens by spinning a while before it eventually explodes
The Ball version has never been made before. So far, I made only one
The pieces are extremely hard to perfect and they have minor blemishes
Pieces are marked internally so they fit back to its original making
This spherical version is an absolute nightmare to turn , and is almost an Impossible Puzzle to perfect. It is still very much a prototype, but a real beaut Stunner, woo hoo
This one is slightly looser, it opens with a 5 star coordinate motion before exploding into 10 pieces
Winning bidder will also get a prototype Icosa too, you lucky thing. This one is for playing and enjoying, the other is better as a Collectors item. I make a very few for sale
Oz woods , mainly Silky Oak, Blackwood,Tassie Oak,Kauri ,Myrtle, with Radiata interior
