This is the Box Joint Box by Quagmire Puzzle Boxes (Randal Gatewood). It is used but in excellent condition. Original instructions included. Here is the manufacturer's description:
This puzzle box will give meaning to, "thinking outside of the box"! Being completely assembled of box joint joinery and small dowels, there is absolutely no discernable moving or sliding parts. This box is so unassuming; most who see it would never guess that it could ever be opened. The Box Joint Box is made of solid Alder and completed with a satin lacquer finish inside and out. All of the dark edges are burnished using a laser. There are actually 52 pieces in all with 32 small dowels used in it's construction - many of which are hidden from view. This box is built to ensure that it will be around for years to come.

With the box joint joinery all around the box and no apparent external parts to work with, the Box Joint Box design has that esthetic appeal that will definitely call for you to pick it up. Its size fits comfortably in your hands making it even more perfect to play with. But don't mistake its simple exterior design for weakness in the challenge it will give you. This box is really what a secret box is all about. How do you open it? Well, that is the secret isn't it! I think you will indeed find this box quite intriguing. - Randal G
