Description
Peg puzzle made in Argentina may be from the 1950s or '60s. Inside cover shows 2 puzzles, in Spanish: Estrella Oriental, and Retiro 31. A typed instruction sheet in English is included--this probably was done by a previous owner and not the company. The 3/4" thick heavy cardboard, two-sided board comes out of the box and has a puzzle on each side. The Oriental Star puzzle (shown here only in the photo of the box cover) requires putting 9 pegs into the 10-hole base one at a time, counting 3 spaces in a straight line from peg to peg, but not being allowe to jump over 2 pegs together. The other side has the Take Out 21 puzzle, which is the standard jump puzzle, the object being to leave 1 in the middle. One peg is missing--but something is rattling around in between the two boards, but you can't get to it!
Size = approx. 4.5" x 4.5"; box = 5.5" x 4.5"

Important Shipping Note: I will be preparing for and attending the Essen Spieletage (German game fair) immediately after the auction ends. I can bring your items won to Essen and save you the shipping cost, but I will not be able to advise on shipping costs or mail items until after the 28th of October! Remember, all items will be shipped from Germany.
