Description
Vintage sliding block puzzle, 1933. Depression era sliding block puzzle reads "Our Home Land" and "USA" and shows the American eagle on a block marked "Prosperity." Now is the time for all good men (and women) to bid on this unique piece of socio-political American history.
Size = approx. 4" x 4".
Instructions are inside the box lid and include 24 puzzles, all with different letter arrangements spelling out such things as "OH - NO - MAD - RULE," "OUR - MA - HELD - ON," and "OR - HAD - NO - MULE."
Payment: Payment can be made by Paypal or by check in U.S. dollars, or by Paypal in euro, or by euro through direct transfer of funds into my German bank account at the equivalent of US $1 = 0,80 euro.
Important Shipping Note: I will be preparing for and attending the Essen Spieletage (German game fair) immediately after the auction. I can bring your items won to Essen and save you the shipping cost, but I will not be able to advise on shipping costs or mail items until after the 28th of October! Remember, all items will be shipped from Germany.

- The cardboard tiles are solid, with minor soiling or discoloration. The box bottom is missing one apron. The box cover is worn, with one swath, very worn edges, and aprons split in the middle and corners. On the instructions, there are pencil marks around the number of the puzzles a previous owner had probably completed.
