Description
This little book, Mathematical Puzzles (and other Brain Teasers) by Anthony Filipiak, is chock-full of nifty puzzles. Published in 1942 by Bell Publishing Company, though this book only has 120 pages, it features a large number of mechanical puzzle designs, with sliding block puzzles (one has over 400 moves), string puzzles, burr puzzles, dexterity, kumiki puzzles, bolt-and-washer and peg puzzles. The book has no dust jacket, and has a moisture-stain on the first couple of pages (see photo). The book is lightly worn, and the color on the spine is a little sun-faded. However, the copy is very solid, with no loose pages.
