Description
This is a rare and hard to find 15 slide number puzzle done in solid brass, mounted on granite. Made by the Henley Company of Carftsmen Limited, in England. It is often considered one of the finest brass 15 puzzles for all collectors. Precision made, I purchased these at wholesale from the company in either 1979 or 1980. We retailed them in NY with Berrocals and sold these puzzles for $300.00. I have restored this today by doing a nice job of machine buffing the brass to original luster (2 hours). Original velvet lined box, in a Maroon "leather" finish. The box is in good condition and shows some wear, particular in the hinges. Very heavy. 5"x 5"
