Description
Turtles, designed and made by Jakub Dvorak (Pelikan)
This is a delightful interlocking puzzle that isn't too difficult but has some fun surprises. From Pelikan's website/Kevin Sadler: “This one is very cute. Jakub decided that he wanted to turn his hand to puzzle design himself and created something delightful. Turtles reminds me of the Bison puzzle from Xmas 2021 – it is a sequentially interlocking puzzle created from Wenge and Acacia. The secret is to find the way to remove the first piece and then it will serially disassemble. In the end you are left with a bunch of rather interesting pieces and a genuine laugh out loud moment when you suddenly realise what the guys have done. When I showed Mrs S, even she was delighted with the end result. It is not a difficult puzzle but it is genuinely delightful.”
It seems like this is a limited edition puzzle out of 50 made, since it's numbered inside. I'm not sure if it's a spoiler to reveal the number but please feel free to contact me to ask, if you'd like to know.
-----
Buyer is responsible for shipping which should be less than $10 for small puzzles (within USA, first-class). Priority mail (and heavier puzzles) might be $3 to $6 more. I charge only exact shipping costs. Please contact me if you need an estimate for international shipping. If you wish to estimate shipping costs yourself, most of my listed puzzles shouldn't weigh more than 16 ounces (450 grams), and the smaller puzzles should be less than that. Typically, first-class international is under $18 for up to 8 ounces, and $25-28 for up to 16 ounces. I will combine multiple items for more cost-effective shipping--I have listed some dexterity, 2D packing, Toyo glass, and a couple puzzle boxes this time.
I can accept payments via Paypal, Zelle, or Transferwise (Wise). There will be no additional packaging or handling fees.
I try to grade condition conservatively. If the puzzle shows any sign of wear from use, it'll be a B or lower. If the puzzle looks like it did when I received it new (barring any defects), it will be graded A. Where useful, I've tried to take photos of the puzzles under different lighting conditions. All puzzles are kept in a smoke-free home maintained at 45-55% humidity.
