The Ultimate Puzzle - Brass Burr
Cute little brass burr that I had been displaying on my "metals" shelf. Comes in its original box with a little pouch and instruction/description sheets. I have never polished the brass so I assume it can be cleaned up more if desired. Packaging shows wear but is still sturdy. Pouch is a bit stiff with its age, but the paper sheets inside are in great condition. The sheets indicate that the puzzle is from 1969 by Chadwick-Miller, Inc. and was made in Japan.
The burr puzzle itself isn't too challenging. Even I was able to figure it out without help. It functions fine but is a little tight. That can probably be cleaned up by polishing. I'm not sure if age/patina is a flaw, but I've graded it a B. But you can see the state of the brass in the photos.

Buyer is responsible for shipping which should be less than $10 (within USA, first-class). Priority mail (and heavier puzzles) might be $2 to $5 more. I charge only exact shipping costs. Please contact me if you need an estimate for international shipping. If you wish to estimate shipping costs yourself, most of my listed puzzles shouldn't weigh more than 16 ounces (450 grams), and the smaller puzzles should be much less than that. I will combine multiple items for cheaper shipping--I have listed a few 2D and 3D packing puzzles, a couple pieces from Toyo Glass, and a couple of metal puzzles this time.
I can accept payments via Paypal, Zelle, or Transferwise. There will be no additional packaging or handling fees.
I try to grade condition conservatively. If the puzzle shows any sign of wear from use, it'll be a B or lower. If the puzzle looks like it did when I received it new (barring any defects), it will be graded A. Where useful, I've tried to take photos of the puzzles under different lighting conditions. All puzzles are kept in a smoke-free home maintained at 45-55% humidity.
