Description
from cubic dissection.com:
As soon as I saw this design on Ishino's site I knew I wanted to make it. The unique design of the burr pieces was interesting enough, but when I assembled the puzzle (note that I did not say solve! I gave up after an hour or so...) I also discovered that there is a lot of interaction between the pieces and the sides of the frame. This is truly a unique design.
This puzzle is very stoutly made. The canarywood internals are connected to the outer paduak ring with a half lap joint. This technique takes more time to make but results in a MUCH stronger joint then simply gluing the endgrain flush with the side of the ring.
I'm selling these puzzles to fund future puzzle-making equipment, and of course to buy more
puzzles :)
