Description
The Fidget Burr by Jerry Mc Farland, is a very nice, very little production burr puzzle. It has a very strange goal for a burr: to deliver a lego princess hidden inside. And indeed, even if it is really a burr, the puzzle works a bit like a puzzle box: at start some moves are so obvious that they will do them automatically (!!!) because of an intricate mechanism of strong magnets, but then, you will find yourself hitting a wall. You have then to find the trick to continue your progression. Another trick is waiting for you a bit later in the disassembly of the puzzle. A very clever puzzle, that brings burrs to a whole new level! And over all of these, the puzzle is fantastic looking with a mix of amazing exotic woods.
It will be entered in IPP 40 design competition ans is among my personal favorite!

The puzzle is signed and numbered, it comes with a very interesting document explaining the background of the puzzle and giving some hints about disassembly and reassembly

- Cosmetic Issues
- Some minor flaws on some pieces not perfectly cut inside and the finishing wax is not uniform but that was how it arrived coming directly from Jerry

- No real issue, it works as intended, but some pieces that has not functionnal duty and have to be released easily after some steps are a bit loose
