Description
Dic Sonneveld was a designer of mathematics-based puzzles. One of his efforts resulted in "Dutch Crosses," six piece burrs that could not be solved by computer. Perennial IPP Puzzle Exchange participant Dirk Weber took one of Dic's designs, modified it so that it would have a unique solution, and used the resulting burr for his exchange puzzle at IPP23 held in Chicago in 2003. The pieces were manufactured by the the great Josef Pelikán prior to his most untimely passing.
The puzzle comes as it was received at IPP23 in 2003 in Chicago, in its original plastic bag with its original instructions and sealed solution sheet.
I will ship within the US via ground advantage (first class mail) for around $6.50, or if preferred, at
insured priority mail pricing
(from between
$9.90 and $10.65, depending on postal code). I am happy
to ship
internationally at cost --- typically around $20 for a small item
like this --- but I cannot always guarantee that overseas
packages can be insured or tracked.
Please let me know if you have any questions about Dutch Cross.
