I noticed a lot of interesting board and stick burrs coming out on Ishino's site so I decided to make batch of them. After looking at a couple dozen designs I chose six for their representation of the various concepts and levels of difficulty.
Stephane came up with some interesting variations on the boards and sticks burr by adding secondary board pieces to be inserted on the same axis as the sticks. This results in a massive increase in difficulty and number of moves. Both these designs are tricky and difficult to assemble with the solution, much less solve on your own. I truly salute anyone who manages to do so without assistance. Captain is slightly less tricky than Aramis since the extra boards are inserted last, but don't let that fool you - there's still a downright nasty sequence of 34 moves you have to complete before that happens!
Construction is excellent, with close tolerances but plenty of room to maneuver.

These puzzles are extras and oddballs that have accumulated in the shop. Sometimes when we make a run of puzzles we will have a few with different woods, etc. which are too much trouble to list individually on the website. These puzzles are all in new condition and fully functional.
