Description

A rare puzzle find for the purist - extra difficult, computer resistant, beautiful construction. New in original wrap.  The infamous Mr. Puzzle has this to say regarding the Boston Tea Chest craftsman range version:

"The object of the puzzle is find the T inside the Boston Tea Chest.

The differences between this puzzle and the Standard Range version which was the Exchange Puzzle presented at IPP26 in August 2006 are:

- The puzzle is crafted from exotic Australian hardwoods.

- The locking mechanism is much more complex and therefore more difficult in this version.

You will have to disassemble the burr to find it.

Brian got the idea behind this puzzle from an old Phillipe Dubois puzzle. The T shaped pieces were originally two sets of mirror reversed triplets. He changed these pieces to ensure they were all different, giving it a unique solution, now separating on one axis only. Brian also added a locking mechanism that will ensure the puzzle is more difficult to disassemble.

Hint: A computer will not help you reassemble it.

Australian Flooded Gum is also known as Rose Gum for it's distinctive pink heartwood. Queensland Silver Ash is grows mainly in the rainforest areas of northern New South Wales and southern Queensland."

Mahalo!
