Boron is not necessarily trivial but also not mind-bendingly difficult. The four inch size has a nice heft, weighing in at a full one lb. weight. This is a great gift for someone you want to encourage spatial abilities without them getting too frustrated.
Construction is very good, precise but with a tiny bit of extra room to compensate for very dry shop conditions.
