When Logan sent me the first puzzle in this series, the Bookend puzzle, I was very impressed. The concept was interesting, the solution tricky, and of course the finished puzzle displayed very nicely. He then followed it up with three more complimentary designs, each with a unique solution. I knew immediately I wanted to make them, and so now I'm very glad to be able to share with you this series of Constrained burrs. I think this set is a unique concept and is likely to be a classic.
The Bookend burr is the easiest of the set and a good place to start. With a unique level 10.4 solution it's no pushover, but the extra length added to the pieces to interact with the frame helps determine piece location and in some cases orientation. A fun puzzle and a worthy beginning to the set.
