159-A in Stewart's numbering scheme. Five pairs of pieces are joined and this puzzle has a tricky disassembly. The note in the box this comes from suggest it was made by Eric and I'm inclined to agree. Eric made 40 of these in 2008 (https://cubicdissection.com/products/seven-piece-improved-hexsticks) this looks like the Paduak version. As Eric said at the time "Mr. Coffin called this the optimal design of the various Hexsticks varieties. It has a single solution which is serially interlocking and even contains a tricky non-linear move. Moderate to difficult to solve, and a lot of fun.". I've disassembled this one and have been unable to find a signature but I am not aware of anyone else ever having made this design (aside from Stewart Coffin of course!)
