This rare puzzle is one of Hoffman's originally mentioned puzzles in his book New and Old. It is a long standing classic, alongside Brass Cannon and Ball & Barrel. Like those other two this is an SD puzzle and though the solve is not particularly long it can trick some for quite some time.
