The pieces are cut from solid bubinga, and interact in tricky and surprising ways with the box. Wooden-Do-It, mid 1900s, Garner Products, NY. Rare. Unique. I doubt any collectors have this one! Various-shaped pieces fit together in different ways to form different objects. The instruction sheet numbers all 13 pieces that are stuck together on a long rod, the finished assembly looking like a cigar; examples of objects are shown, with numbers indicating which pieces are used to put the object together.

Arungo, from Little Harbor. It's a ring-maze, a bit like the "Cast Bicycle", but much, much bigger. The maze is set on a flat wooden base, but can be removed from the base for solving it (it isn't glued together, and the base does not appear to be part of the maze). The box is 12"x8.5"x3.5", and the puzzle not much smaller than that. Weight is 1 lb 4 oz without any packing. Made in Maine, USA, probably around the 1990's.
