Gesicht
A rare and hard to find puzzle from that elusive desiner Roger. This is not a difficult one to solve. The challenge would appear to be to move the ball bearing from one eye to the other. Supplied is a small metal baton to help push the ball around the inside of the puzzle.

Coin Maze
Coin maze is based on a circular maze pattern designed by Adrian Fisher as a company logo. The puzzle is a "misleading" mechanical maze, as it feels that you can cross a wall at some places, whereas you are blocked at other places where there seemsto be no wall.

Boston Subway
Boston has a subway system in which
there are two North-South lines crossing over two East-west lines with
connections between them at some of the cross-over points. Imagine a
future Boston subway system with ten North-South lines and ten East-West
lines. Oskar van Deventer imagined such a system and built the most
perverse transfer design possible. This rendition of his puzzle was
greatly enhanced by the fertive mind of Dave Rossetti who suggested a
magnetic wand to guide the intr...

Multimatch 1
Multimatch is Wade Philpott's trademark for MacMahon's Three-color Squares, made by Kadon Enterprises. A set of pieces plus a booklet full of puzzle patterns is provided. The classic task is to join squares with colormatched edges plus a uniform border color around the perimeter of the indicated figures. This requirement produces a zigzag sort of region bounded by the border color. Additional activities focus on creating color patches within edge matched rectangles and squares. This original puz...

Next Floor layered maze
This puzzle is really interesting. It's a maze with 4 levels and a very unusual property. Because of the size of the cutouts and the round shape of the ball, each level has different paths depending on which way you turn the puzzle. The ball will hit a seeming dead end, but if you flip the puzzle over suddenly new possibilities will appear.VERY entertaining and a really brilliant design by the well known Mr. Deventer. These puzzles are ones from my personal collection that I no longer have ...

Great Escape
This excellent puzzle was an IPP design competition winner. Received in the gift exchange, the craftsmanship is remarkable and the design a ton of fun. A very nice addition to any collection, even those of you who (like me) do not usually enjoy puzzles made from materials other than wood or metal. These puzzles are ones from my personal collection that I no longer have room for.Shipping cost will be calculated after the end of the auction. Winning bidder will pay the actual postage amount pl...

Eagle Jigsaw with figurals
This is a wooden jigsaw painted with a black frame and "gold" pieces. A few figurals; starfish, seahorse, and shark to go with the "eagle" theme (no, I don't understand it either). Nice puzzle, tight pieces. Initials on the back of one piece say M. E. F (I think), year 2001.

Quicksilver Maze
Yes, this maze has toxic, EPA banned Mercury in it! You guide the little glob of metal through the maze from start to finish. Remember when we used to play with this stuff in our bare hands? Ah, for the good old days.
Comes in the original plastic sleeve. The hard plastic of the maze has some superficial stress-crackling lines in the plastic, looks like from manufacturing, not from damage. You can see them in the photo. There is no leakage; the glob of mercury is held captive quite nicely.

Bilz Obstacle, plastic maze-puzzle
This puzzle is still in the box, though the box is a little rough around the edges. The plastic maze-puzzle is perfect. This is one of those puzzles where you put a $20 bill inside, give it to a friend as a gift, and let them try to open it, rolling a marble around so that it finally hits the trip-release. Interesting opening mechanism.

3D Maze with Nintendo pix -octohedron
This is a 3D maze with a different Nintendo picture on each side - Mario and such. The apex of each side is connected to all 4 sides, so the mazes aren't very difficult, presumably made for, say, a 5-year old. On the plastic is imbedded the letters: TM,copyright 1997 Nintendo, Applause/China. No other labels I can see. Pretty good condition; a couple of tiny marks on two of the sides.
