Eric says "Elena's burr is an interesting variation with a lot of tricky movement. The level 13.7 solution will keep you very very busy. Disassembly alone is a feat, with lots of dead ends. Reassembly without directions is extremely difficult. Elena's burr is an elegant design, and the ability to come up with a unique solution at such high levels with simple pieces is an achievement. I really enjoyed making and playing with this one!"

Eric says " It's not easy to come up with a new variation on the traditional six piece burr, but Juno came up with a great one! Because pairs of two pieces are off-centered, the assembled shape of the puzzle looks inaccurate though the pieces need to be accurate. Eric says "The Loopy Burr came from the genius brain of Junichi; a very unusual six piece interlocking puzzle with pieces that form three intermingled loops once in the proper position. Finding that position takes eleven moves, and is downright tricky due to the space caused by the loops. Good luck! Beautiful three piece cube puzzle called 'CHAIR' because of the ladies that designed the first version.From there Jack took it upon himself to bring this to a bigger audience. I had great fun playing with this version as well as version 2.3 (see other listing). Oskar van Deventer's Bristle Burr, beautifully made by Tom Lenscha lovely serially interlocking assembly.It isn't a high level burr - just level 1, but it isn't trivial to assemble!I can ship it assembled or disassembled, but I recommend the latter.

Missing Notch is one of Stewart Coffins more difficult assembly puzzles. The six pieces are nearly identical, with notched out centers and two angled notches on the outside. One piece is missing an angled notch, which obviates the obvious coordinate motion assembly.
