This is actually one of the 2 copies that were entered in the IPP Design Competition 2008. Since Scott Peterson moved shortly after these puzzles were finished, the production of a small batch - as planned - had to be postponed. This was literally my copy of my design entry at IPP23 in 2003. This copy was put on display at the competition. This puzzle is one of several puzzle designs made by Philippe Dubois called "Gaby Games" that he had made for his daughter. They were named after her (Gabriel). I made this puzzle for myself in the eary 1990s and added the cube in the middle.

This little wooden house is about 4 inches tall, and the roof part appears to be one piece, while the bottom half is jigsaw-cut into 6 more pieces. The bottom is stamped with an oval stamp that says "Century Puzzles Inc." and "Glen (something) ILL." Hard to read; some of the letters are on the cuts. It looks old, but no estimate on the mfg. date.
