This is the original prototype made by the late Joseph Pelican and signed by Dic Sonneveld. I have never tried to take it apart, so it is perfect condition. I have enjoyed owning this puzzle and now feel it deserves to be in someone elses collection. I have the computer program also that shows the step-by-step solution

Only 2 pieces, or 1 piece in a cage. Two-Piece Oddity was the original name, renamed by Philos as the Cross Cage. This is the Philos version in the original package with instructions. Not a terribly difficult puzzle, satisfying to solve, interesting to see, and one that can be handed to beginners without fear that they will take vengeance on you at a later date. Possibly an Arjeu puzzle, but I bought it from Kubi-Games while in Germany (see box), so maybe not. Somewhat sloppy fit.
