New Japanese impossible object - How is the ball trapped??

Two dovetail impossible objects. The smaller 2-piece one slides apart, but has a piece chipped out on one corner. The other 3-piece is glued together (or the varnish made it stick), so it's not really a puzzle at all, just an impossible object. Both are dinged up a bit. I don't know how old they are (they look old) or where they came from. The larger one is 5" long.Postage is $7.35 in the US or $29.95 international.

Impossible Chain was Saul Bobroffs exchange puzzle at IPP25 in Finland, 2005.This puzzle is impossible to take apart (in a non-desctuctive way), but how was it posible to put it together... or was it not possible at all?The goal is to imagine how this impossible chain was made out of 2 zebrawood ring/block pieces and 4 silicone rings that have no seams.
