These are two variations of my Lattice puzzle that Eric cut for me during the prototype phase with different colors. The black one is smoky gray, semi-transparent, with a nice, tight fit. The red one is solid red and the fit is somewhat sloppy. These are identical to the clear Lattice puzzle I used as an exchange puzzle for IPP29, but are, to my knowledge, the only ones around in these colors (unless Eric made a couple for himself).

Not really a "dexterity" puzzle, more of a "balance" puzzle. Designed by Oskar and Wayne Daniel, made by Wayne Daniel. I never solved this. It's an odd little bit of geometry (one piece) that you are supposed to hang off the edge of a table, selecting a side/position where it is certain not to fall off. It says it has 12 possible orientations, but only balances in one of them. "Oskars's original had 24 orientations, only one of which balanced, and was called 'Cliff Hangar'." He designed a later ...

TriGears. Three gears that can be snapped out of their frames, so that the teeth can be interfaced in different arrangements. This is required because the teeth are of varying thicknesses. The goal is to "engage the three gears so that they spin freely without jamming". It's quite difficult, since all three gears interact simultaneously; you can't just try to solve 2 of them then add the third. Designed by Bram Cohen and Oskar van Deventer.

Black or White, designed by Vesa Timonen and Tomas Linden. This took me an amazingly long time to solve, considering that it's relatively simple (but non-intuitive). The instructions, though simple, can be a little confusing; I think the distinction between "square" and "rectangle" and "square with internal voids" is very ambiguous. One of the included puzzles is to "make a 8/9 sized square on the table", so does this mean an 8x9 rectangle with or without voids, or a square that's a fractional 8...

Stewart Coffin started making 6-piece burrs with pieces which did not follow the normal orthogonal rules. This restricts the number of ways that the pieces can be rotated and limits the number of 'assemblies'. This is Bill Cutler's level-7 notchable 6-piece burr design which did not have a unique solution. When made with the slanted pieces, it does have a unique solution.
