Six Segment Burr, SIGNED by Hidekuni Tamura, designer. This is unvarnished, unstained wood. The first piece removal has a good amount of friction, so requires some wiggling to remove it. I would be happy to send it disassembled, however. This is "Variation 1" of (apparently) 4 variations. The data sheet says Var 1-19, and the autograph is also marked with that data. I don't know what the "19" is for. I bought it in 2004, so it isn't a date.Puzzle without packaging is 3 ounces.

But the pieces are unusually shaped, with some very odd angles. Once you work out the trick to getting that final piece in, you realise there’s a lot of subtlety to those simple looking blocks.
