Bovril Colour and Square is a reproduction of an antique advertising puzzle used by the Bovril Company of England.  The puzzle is beautifully reproduced in four contrasting woods by the great Wayne Daniel, and was used by perennial Edward Hordern Puzzle Exchange participant Harold Raizer.  The objective of the puzzle is to arrange the five pieces to form a square, such that no two triangles of the same color are touching each other.  Note that the second photograph is NOT in the solved state....

Robrecht Louage won the Jury Grand Prize in the 2011 IPP Competition held in Berlin with this ingenious puzzle.The goal is to remove the coin.There is a little bit of damage on this puzzle. The sliding piece of perspex has a smallchip off one corner. Does not interfere with the working of the puzzle.
