Amazing Cube, puzzles 1, 2, and 3. ThinkIQ. Three different puzzles; you work to get the metal piece inside the box, then try to get it out again. I solved one of the three. The other two I'm fairly sure I never opened. All in original packages.

Six Segment Burr, SIGNED by Hidekuni Tamura, designer. This is unvarnished, unstained wood. The first piece removal has a good amount of friction, so requires some wiggling to remove it. I would be happy to send it disassembled, however. This is "Variation 1" of (apparently) 4 variations. The data sheet says Var 1-19, and the autograph is also marked with that data. I don't know what the "19" is for. I bought it in 2004, so it isn't a date.Puzzle without packaging is 3 ounces.

Another classic by Oskar van Deventer, the Paperclips puzzle is rarely made, and for good reason. The length of the sticks and small surface area for overlap at the edges makes it very difficult to construct. Each corner is reinforced by a shoulder joint, then sanded flush and further reinforced with a full length spline. A classic from 1983 that won the Grand Prize in the Hikimi Wooden Puzzle Competition three years later. The objective is to pack the four wooden blocks inside the box. But the pieces are unusually shaped, with some very odd angles. Once you work out the trick to getting that final piece in, you realise there’s a lot of subtlety to those simple looking blocks.
