This is very nice size hand made secret compartment box. Rather than a full puzzle box, this has a secret compartment requiring one sneaky move to open. It appears to be Pine mostly, with some Oak? Well thought, and nicely made, and a great beginners box. Most burrs are designed so the solver cannot see and notches. Bill designed this puzzle so the solver could see the notches. This helps to analyze the solution for disassembly.

This is a very nice design. During assembly the small diameter dowels spring a little and the rotating cubes allow the pieces to snap together.

This puzzle box was created by Akio Kamei as a Xmas present for the Karakuri Club members in 2007. It is now sold out and no longer made. The mechanism is inspired by Kamei's 1998 Love Box. This box is in excellent (as new) cosmetic and working condition. Comes with the original box.
