This second release of Lift Box incorporates a couple of design improvements over the last version. Simple and elegant puzzle box.

Karakuri Xmas gift 2012. Opens in 7 Steps and is stamped with Akio Kamei's Hanko. The mechanism is true the name of the series, meaning that this box "expands" during the solving process. But the movements are different. One cute feature is the little peepholes on each walnut piece that gives you a view inside of something metallic. Walnut.

This is a nice n-ary puzzle that requires 162 for disassembly. See my other items for combined shipping.

Stewart Coffin designed this puzzle in 1990. It is made of ten identical pieces, one key and one augmented piece. Assembling and disassembling the puzzle requires shifting the pieces back and forth in order to insert or remove the next piece. Mr Coffin considers this puzzle to be difficult to solve, (assembly in particular). He considers the 12-Piece Separation one of his top favorite designs.
