Involute
This is a one-off puzzle I made for myself. Very small, yet very precise. It's quite difficult to make accurate puzzles at this scale. Involute is the second iteration of the famous Convolution puzzle. Very tricky and fun to solve. This is a very nice, one of a kind puzzle. This item is from my personal collection. Shipping is $8 in the US for Priority Mail. International shipping is $18 for first class and $35 for Priority Mail. I will combine shipping for multiple items. The last picture is...

Two Halves Cage 4a
RELEASED:11.29.2012PRODUCED:40 CopiesDESIGNER:Gregory BenedettiCRAFTSMAN:Eric FullerMATERIAL:Sapele / WengeCOMMENTS:This is the companion puzzle to the much easier "Two Halved Cage 3b". The last one gave an idea of the concept; this one kicks it up several notches! This non-millable six piece burr is surrounded by a cage split into two mirrored halves. Not only must the solver figure out the burr itself, but they must also understand the burr within the constrains of the cage. That alone would be...

Slow Waltz
RELEASED:5.30.2012PRODUCED:40 CopiesDESIGNER:Jeff NamkungCRAFTSMAN:Eric FullerMATERIAL:Canarywood / Cocobolo - Sapele / EbonyCOMMENTS:This is one of those puzzle designs I almost passed up. A couple customers emailed me, asking if I Would make it. Looked like a normal 4x4 cube to me so I was fairly non-committal. Then several more customers chimed in over the next couple weeks, and I gave it a more serious look. While indeed a simple 4x4 cube (no rotations even!), this design steps up the diffic...

I have not made a cool tray puzzle in a while, and this seemed like just the ticket. I also had a nice bunch of ebony and cocobolo that would be perfect for it!.About design #187, Stewart says:"The three puzzles in this category all have a 5×5 square...

Logan sent me the first puzzle in this series, the Bookend puzzle, I

Exploda Burr
I made Exploda Burr six piece burrs as souvenirs for IPP13 in 1993 for Bill Cutler. Bill's design consists of 6 identical pieces that assemble via coordinate motion into a 6 piece burr with no spaces inside. Several pieces were left behind due to chipped edges from the cutting process. So this burr consists of left over pieces with cosmetic defects that do not affect the puzzles function. The photo included shows the defects, 2 of which are visible in the assembled puzzle.

RELEASED:12.11.2011PRODUCED:36 CopiesDESIGNER:Tom JollyCRAFTSMAN:Eric FullerMATERIAL:Various Exotic HardwoodsCOMMENTS:Another Jolly design, this is a six piece burr in a three piece burr shape, with hollow internals. Got all that? Very tricky assembly, this burr shares a looping piece set that is not at all intuitive to assemble.Crafted with various exotic hardwoods, the fit is a bit loose due to the unsupported nature of the framework design. That said, it definitely won't be falling apart in y...

Burr Circus
RELEASED:11.29.2012PRODUCED:42 CopiesDESIGNER:Stewart CoffinCRAFTSMAN:Eric FullerMATERIAL:PurpleheartCOMMENTS:Designated STC #116, this Coffin puzzle was Allen Rolf's IPP29 exchange contribution. Mr. Coffin himself doesn't seem to have many records of it, stating in his book that he only made a few and had no records of ever selling any copies. I'm not sure how Allen revived the design, but I'm glad he did because this is a very interesting puzzle. Thanks to him for giving me permission to make ...

Improved Cluster Buster
Quoting Lee's description: "Looking like clusters of six rhombic dodecahedrons, these puzzles are members of the Diagonal Burr family. Assembly is moderately difficult due to the dexterity required to align the two halves of the puzzle just right in order to get all of the pointy tips properly overlapping each other. Disassembly (i.e. "busting" the cluster) can be quite tricky because of the awkward placement of six fingers required to begin pushing the two halves apart. The classic version of ...
