Description

Cocobolo Maze Burr crafted by Kagen Sound, number of 22 of 60. Puzzle comes with the problem booklet containing 27 problems, analysed by John Rausch, together with a Certificate of Authenticity (not pictured). The extra six maze plates are cleverly held within the Ebony frame of the puzzle itself.

The puzzle is in very good condition and functions well. There a couple of very tine scratches/dings on a couple of pieces, only really noticeable on close inspection. One can be seen in the middle of the left plate in the main picture. A few of the maze plates have had the finish worn off in the center, by the cork embedded under the Holly pieces. A sign this puzzle has been played with and solved.

I am selling on behalf of a puzzle friend. This puzzle rarely comes up for sale and won both the People's Choice and Grand Prize at the 2006 Nob Yoshigahara Puzzle Design Competition.
