Background info:
The Concentric Arc was designed by S.L. Saunders in the 1900’s. A file application was made with the US Patent office on 2nd December 1903 (Serial No. 183,452). The patent was granted on 26th July 1904 (Patent No. 766,188). Saunders patented various other inventions that range from a shelf rack for boots and shoes to what I believe was an early speedometer.
