This puzzle is a exchange puzzle by Vladimir Krasnoukhov for the International Puzzle Party 28 held in Prague, Czech Republic 2008
Goal:
Add one more piece (the cross) int the tray with 11 pieces already there.
The pieces can be turned and flipped over but cannot overlap.
Notes:
The puzzle conststs of a rectangular frame and a 12-piece set of flattened pentominoes.
Different from the classic pentominoes which consist of squares, the elements of this puzzle constitute rectangles with ratio of 13/18. The chosen compression ratio enables the paradoxal quality of the puzzle: at first sight, the start position does not have enough room for adding the 12th piece.
