Description

Professor Krasnoukhov is a prolific Russian puzzle inventor and perennial puzzle exchange participant, and Akihabara was his exchange puzzle at IPP26 held in Boston in 2006. The puzzle consists of 4 identical pieces, each made up of a parallelogram and a trapezoid, which are to be fit into each of two tray openings. The puzzle was inspired by the famous "tray" puzzles by Edi Nagata.

The puzzle is as it was presented at IPP29 in 2009, complete in its original resealable cellophane bag with its original instruction sheet. I will provide a copy of the solution to Akibahara from the IPP26 exchange booklet.
