Description

Shiura's Daily Hex

A calendar packing puzzle with ten hexagonal unit, two-sided pieces (dark and light sides).

Up to three challenges each day. Solve using:

both sides of pieces (easiest),
front side only (light grain),
back side only (dark grain).

Somewhat difficult, but fortunately Shiura has an on-line tool to assist with hints for placing from 1 to all 10 pieces for each of the three challenges.

Not small; measures: 152mm x 164mm x 7mm (~6" x 6.5" x 0.3")

Materials include wood veneer, laminate, and plywood.

Built and sold with permission of the original designer, Shinsaku Hiura.
