You don't get huge numbers of impossible object puzzles at IPP exchanges but this is one of them. A steel ball forever trapped in a poplar cage with no way to escape and no (easy) explanation how it got in there. The puzzle comes in it's original box with a number of humorous solutions on the accompanying information sheet (in English and on the reverse in Japanese). This was, of course, Robert Sandfield's exchange puzzle at IPP 24 in Tokyo
I've marked the function as perfect, neither too loose nor too tight. As an impossible object the fit is, of course, incredibly tight no way is that ball coming out and not easy to understand how it got in there!
