Description

This is a 14-Piece checkerboard puzzle, likely from the 1930's, produced by the D&S Novelty Company of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The pieces are to be punched out of a sturdy cardboard folder, and each square is 7/16 x 7/16 inches (10 x 10 mm). The puzzles are intact and in NEAR MINT condition. THE WINNING BIDDER WILL RECEIVE TWO COPIES OF THE PUZZLE --- one to keep intact for collecting purposes, and one with which to play. Both puzzles come with their original glassine envelopes! The puzzle has 84 solutions. I will send a sealed copy of 12 of the solutions to the winning bidder.

I will ship within the US at insured priority mail pricing (from between $8.70 and 9.45, depending on postal code), or as a first class package for around $5.00, if preferred. I am happy to ship internationally at cost, but I cannot always guarantee that overseas packages can be insured or tracked.
