Dodecahedron was number 7 in Robert Rose's MBP series (Mental Block Puzzles) It was made in very limited numbers and most of the original puzzles were acquired by collectors at IPP 23 in Chicago in 2003.
It is an edge matching puzzle and the goal is to attach the 12 steel pentagons to the aluminium core which has a magnet attached to each face. One of the faces on the dodecahedral core has the name of the puzzle "DDH3 MBP7" engraved upon it.
I have removed 3 or 4 pieces but have not been brave enough to test and remove them all!
It has been about 6 or 7 years since one of these puzzles appeared at auction, they don't come up often! I've spotted no flaws in this copy.
