Vortex was number 5 in Robert Rose's MBP series (Mental Block Puzzles) It was made in very limited numbers and most of the original puzzles were acquired by collectors at IPP 23 in Chicago in 2003.
The goal of the puzzle is to to stack the 5 layers.
It has been about 5 or 6 years since one of these puzzles appeared at auction, they don't come up often! There are no flaws in this copy, the puzzle name is engraved on the central mustard yellow piece.
