The goal is to remove the ring (see last picture, no spoiler).
This design is easily recognised because of the nipple in the end of the bolt.
This is WS #8 according to Haubrichs catalog of bolt and nut puzzles.
This copy has a few rusty patches, in the thread and on the pin that extends from the nut.
This does not affect the puzzle fuctionality.
