Stuff the Turkey was the exchange puzzle of Harry Nelson at IPP25 in Finland, 2005.
The goal of this puzzle is to re-assemble the 8 tetromino pieces in the frame, after "shaking them out of the box".
The pieces are a bit loose on purpose, to make sure they drop out of the frame when the box is turned over.
This ensures that the solver does not see the solution before attempting the solve.
A second challenge is to put the empty frame in the box, and then re-assemble the pieces in the frame.
This complicates the solve as only one hole of the frame can be used to insert the pieces.
This puzzle has an interesting catch, a special trick, which must be discovered before the puzzle can be solved.
Due to the age of the puzzle this trick had become obvious, I repaired it to make it less evident. It won't be hard to find though.
The puzzle comes in its original cardboard box with instruction labels on the outside.
