Hooker Cube was Bill Darah's exchange puzzle at IPP25 in Finland, 2005.
The goal of this 3D interlocking 4x4x4 cube is to take it apart in 6 pieces, and then put it back together in its cube shape. This can be done without rotations.
All six pieces have a 'hook' or 'U' shape like the piece shown separately in the picture, hence the puzzle name.
Two of the glue joints were found loose during the puzzle inspection. These were sanded and re-glued using the puzle itself as a jig. The result is a fine working interlocking cube puzzle.
