Description

This is a copy of Wil Strijbos' famous Egg Puzzle from the most recent production run. I purchased this puzzle from Sloyd in December 2019. I have solved and reset the puzzle twice. There are no cosmetic defects in the anodized aluminum exterior that I was able to find. Internal components will naturally show light wear from use, but are not visible. The "original packaging" will be included, but this is simply a protective cardboard tube (as pictured); no other packaging or documentation was provided with the puzzle as new.

Important Note: Most puzzles in this production run have a "defect" (or "feature", depending on your view) which allows the top of the egg to be unscrewed from the base, revealing the internal mechanism. This is a well known issue and is very easy to avoid when you know about it. If you are able to continuously rotate the top counter-clockwise and notice a small gap forming between the two halves, this means you are unthreading the top; the mechanical feeling of unscrewing the top felt very obvious to me. Once solved, I found the ability to remove the top and study the mechanism to be fascinating, so I consider myself a member of the "feature" camp.

Shipping & Fees: Domestic packages will be shipped with USPS Priority Mail and usually ranges from $8-15, depending on location and insurance amount. International packages will be shipped using preferred method of the buyer. In both cases, the buyer will pay actual shipping costs and PayPal fees.
