Three Crested Puzzle Jugs (Lot 3 of 4)
Three copies of crested souvenir puzzles jugs all likely to have been made between late 19th C and early 1920's each with a city crest. SPH had this to say about them :
"Each of these jugs weighs about 0.5 SPH and have been based on an early puzzle jug held in Kensington. These are souvenirs from Chester, Bridlington and Hull. I snigger when I think of Chester because, you know, boobs. "
The standardised puzzle Hamster is not included in this auction but is included for scale. A standardised hamster has a length of 160mm, height of 76mm, and weight of 64g.
I am selling these puzzles to raise funds for DCD. Hoping to make enough to attend, buy puzzles and drink beer. Mostly the latter two. I am starting everything at low prices, irrespective of market value, so please bid generously.
Postage will be at cost from the UK, if paying by paypal please add 4% to cover transaction fees.
