Description

Classifies as 2.1 trick/secret opening. About 8cm across, mainly laser-cut MDF, top layer acrylic and below some wood veneer. Goal is to get the coin out, some steps are involved. This puzzle was manufactured by Siebenstein Spiele (Jürgen Reiche) and was the competition puzzle for Allen Stein (puzzlemaster.ca) at IPP35 Ottawa.

Note that the picture of two puzzles is just to encourage you to look at the other lot, this lot is for the puzzle on the right only.

The two "04" tabs were loose when I unpacked the puzzle, so I neatly glued them in place (more neatly than the bits were glued by the manufacturer). The reason they come loose has to do with the structure of the layer beneath, but does not affect solving or the mechanism in any way.
