Description

A Parcel Post puzzle (the designer and manufacturer are not known) measures 4.8" by 6.8" by 1.7" box.

Finely crafted from English Elm with Iroka rims and Wenge slip-feathers and a bottom floated to compensate for movement.

All of the 18 pieces (all with the same thickness) have great tolerances in the box and just slip inside. They have been hand sanded on each edge, and finished with three layers of lacquer. Fifteen different exotic woods are used in the 18 pieces including: (1) Paduak, (2) English Yew (Spalted), (3) English Ash, (4) Mahogany, (5) English Elm x2, (6) West Indian Satin Wood, (7) Purpleheart (Amaranth) x 1, (8) English Sycamore x 2, (9) Walnut, (10) Cherry, (11) Osage, (12) English Beech, (13) Wenge x2 (14) Douglas Fir x 2.
