This 13-inch square peg puzzle was made by the Royal National Institute for the Blind in the UK. There are 33 pegs, each about one inch high. The white center peg has a metal tip to distinguish it from the others, suggesting that games such as Fox and Geese can be played with the same set. Pegs fit into holes in the standard cross pattern for the puzzle, and there are additional holes around the outside of the puzzle to store pegs as they are removed from the puzzle during jumping. The lines between the holes are raised grains like sand so they can be felt by touch; a few of these lines have tiny sections rubbed off.
