Stickman 2011 Christmas Present Puzzles were never publically sold, but rather given out to a few friends and family as presents. A couple of collectors managed to talk me out of my spares, so this is my last and only copy of this particular design, and I shall not make any more. This puzzle is not overly complex, and only requires 4-5 steps to solve, but it does use a unique concept to start, and opens along “seems that seem unseemly”.
The fit and finish on this puzzle is not as fine as most Stickman puzzles, as it was originally intended as gifts. Still, it is far from being ugly either. It is crafted mostly from cedar with maple inlays and a simple basswood base. The puzzle is mentioned on page 45 of the Stickman Book, which provides more detail about it, but also gives away its solution. In fact, this is actually the same puzzle pictured in that book.
The puzzle has no solution book, but does come with its original Stickman Christmas Gift label leaflet. The “To: and From:” sections are left blank. The puzzle measures 5.5” x 3.5” 3.5”. Only total of 12 of these were crafted and no more will ever be made.
