Toyo Glass Pick 'Em up
I sold one of these in the last auction - I have another copy. This one unused and in original packaging.
A slightly less common, but highly desirable, Toyo Glass Puzzle now out of production. A dexterity puzzle. Pop the balls into the police man's helmet and pluck 'em out.
The boxed puzzle weighs around the equivalent of eight standardised hamsters. Rotating a standardised hamster through 180 degrees is pretty pointless. Whereas rotating this puzzle reveals it is based on the classic optical illusion by Rex and Laurence Whistler. See my other listings for a similar puzzle.
As I seek to complete my Toyo Glass collection I an increasingly acquiring duplicates of puzzles as parts of lots that may have a single wanted item in. I am therefore picking up duplicates along the way. This sale is for such duplicates.
The standardised puzzle Hamster is not included in this auction but is included for scale. A standardised hamster has a length of 160mm, height of 76mm, and weight of 64g.
I am selling these puzzles to raise funds for DCD. Hoping to make enough to attend, buy puzzles and drink beer. Mostly the latter two. I am starting everything at low prices, irrespective of market value, so please bid generously.
