**SPECIAL** 1985 Tortuous Box (Oak) #3 by Akio Kamei.

Objective is to open the puzzle box and locate the secret compartment with the artist's hanko. Finishing and movement are excellent. Includes original box labeled "Kamei #3 Oak".

Early original 14 move puzzle box, very unusual mechanism, Kamei's hanko inside.

Detailed original solution diagram is included.

The founding Karakuri craftsman, Akio Kamei, began producing fine wood puzzles in the 1970's in Japan. A museum quality example of Kamei's early work, this is an original artist's piece produced in the early '80s, not a later reproduction. Note the fine wood finish in this example.
