Description
This puzzle was given as a gift to me from Robert years ago. Description below is from Robert's web site. It comes with an instruction booklet.
The Stickman No. 1 boxes are Robert’s
first puzzle, and initially crafted as
Christmas gifts for friends and family. A
few of these extras eventually found their
way onto e-bay and into craft booths. This
initiated the start of the Stickman Puzzle
Box Company, as a few collectors
stumbling across them requested new and
different designs. These puzzles were
originally known as “Oak Wood Slide
Boxes” in instruction books, and it was not
until after Robert’s second design, that they
took on the “Stickman No. 1 Puzzle” name.
Rustic and rugged in construction, these
puzzleboxes were fashioned using just a
radial arm saw and hand drill. Many of
these boxes differ in size and appearance, as
boxes from this generation were first assembled, then later trimmed
down to size. A unique feature in these puzzles was an internal
mechanism that locked drawers at various positions so that the closing
of one drawer would slide open another.
